Historical! Zerah shel Kodesh of the Rebbe of Sassov! Letter by the Chassid Rav Rabbi Yosef Ashkenazi to the famed Chassid Rabbi Zvi Pinchas Hacohen Moskovich of Jerusalem, discussing the immigration of the holy Rav Rabbi Chanina Yom Tov Lipa Mayer of Semihali, the future Admor of Sassov, to Eretz Yisroel, to have children, on behalf of his in-law the holy Rav of Satmar.

In the letter that was sent on the eve of Shavu’os 1938, to the rabbinic Zvi Pinchas Hacohen Moskovich, the loyal confidante of the holy Rav Rabbi Yoel of Satmar, Rabbi Yosel asks the opinion of the loyal confidante as to what the Rav of Semihali intends to do to have children: immigrate to the Holy Land and settling there.

Rabbi Yosel notes how hard the residents of the town took it since the Rav of Sassov was the Dayan of the town and a Ram at the yeshiva of his in-law Shalita.

Rabbi Yosel states that Maran of Satmar himself asked him to relay the question to his close friend and confidante, the rabbinic Chassid Rabbi Zvi Pinchas Hacohen Moskovich.

The loyal Chassid Rabbi Ephraim Yosef Dov Ashkenazi, the Gabai and confidante of the holy Rav Rabbi Yoel of Satmar, the son of the loyal Gabai Rabbi Sheraga Feibush Ashkenazi.

Maran the Admor Rabbi Chanina Yom Tov Lipa Teitelbaum [Mayer] of Semihali – Sassov, the beloved son-in-law of Maran the holy Rav of Satmar. The son of the holy Rav Rabbi Chanoch Henich of Kertzki. Established the Yismach Moshe and in his second marriage, married the pious Rebbetzin of Sassov.
