Manuscript, Kuntres of sermons for Yamim Nora’im handwritten by the holy Gaon Rabbi Elazar Löw the author of Shemen Roke’ach – some of the sermons were printed in his book Sama Dechayei, yet most of them were never printed. Appearing in the Kuntres are rare words of praise for his wife the pious Rebbetzin – Filtz, 1793.

25 pp. handwritten by the holy Gaon Rabbi Elazar Löw  Av Beit Din of Filtz and Trist, author of Shemen Roke’ach. The Kuntres contains sermons that were delivered by the author on Yamim Nora’im of 1793 (apparently): Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Shmini Atzeret. The estimated time in which the manuscript was written is indicated by what the author wrote at the end of his sermon for Yom Kippur: "וכאשר ראינו בעינינו כמה לבבות נעקרו ונשברו בקהלה זו בשנה זאת… גם בי יצאת יד ה’ ופגע בי מדת הדין ונלקח מאתי מחמד עיני אשתי היקרה הצדקת תנצב"ה, שהיתה עטרת לבעלה, ואין אדם יודע ממד[ו]ת טובות וצניעות שהי’ בה יותר ממני", (this passage was never printed, as most of the Kuntres), implying that it was written in the year his first wife, the Rebbetzin Yutel, had passed away – 1792 according to his biographers (Zichron Elazar, Mishkoltz 1936, p. 13).

Some of the sermons in this Kuntres were printed by the author in his book Sama Dechayei (Warsaw, 1796) with many additions. However, most of them were apparently never printed. The Kuntres contains marks of erasure of entire passages and comments across the margins of the leaf.
