Sefer Mayim Kedoshim, innovations on the Bavli Talmud Seder Kodashim, by Rabbi Avraham Moshe Segal of Brahilov. The press of Yissachar Ber ben Moshe Yehuda, Yechiel Michl Ben David Katz and Avraham ben Yosef, Mezhirov, [1790]. First, rare edition. 

120, [1] leaves. With the leaf of corrections and glosses which was added to only some copies of the book. Foreign notation on the lower part of the title page. The author added an introduction with Aggadic matters and ended with a Shut on Agunot and Ribit; in this copy, however, [8] leaves are missing including the second introduction. 

Rabbi Avraham Moshe ben Rabbi Asher Segal – of the Pikov, Perloka and Brahilov communities. According to Stefansky, Chassidut 342, he was a disciple of the Maggid of Mezeritch and he introduces some of the Maggid’s Torah in his introduction. 

Incomplete copy. No binding. The first two leave are detached. The last leaf is partly detached. Loose spine. Dampness damage, stains and mold stains. Moth holes. Blemishes to the corners of the first leaves and the last one. The cutting of the edges affected the first lines of several leaves. Poor-fair condition.
