Historical! Draft of a broadside against participation in the elections for the Knesset, with corrections and handwritten signatures of Gedolei Hador, the Dayanim of the Bidatz headed by Maranan Gaon Av Beis Din of Jerusalem, the Minchas Yitzchak, the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund and the Gaon Rabbi Yisroel Moshe Dushinsky.
Historical broadside from 1981, typewritten with varied corrections on the text and beneath it, signed by Gaon Av Beis Din of Jerusalem, the Minchas Yitzchak, the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund, the Gaon Rabbi Yisroel Moshe Dushinsky and the Dayanim Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Fischer, Rabbi Binyomin Rabinovich and Rabbi Avraham David Horowitz Gaon Av Beis Din of Starssburg.
Fascinating, historical document. The corrections done on the broadside include an addition of the word ‘להכנסת’ after the word ‘להבחירות’. In addition, in the passage with the signature of Maran the Minchas Yitzchak, the word ‘להשלטונות’, was added, possibly due to the fact that the matter of elections for the municipality was avoided.
There are also textual changes pertaining to the doctrine of the Gaon of Satmar.
The broadside is signed, a stated, by the members of the Bidatz. Enclosed is a photocopy of the broadside that was eventually published with the signature of the Beirach Moshe too.
