Sefer Kabbalah – copy of the Tzaddik Meor Yisroel Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl and his son Rabbi Zussia. Sefer Emet LeYaakov, elucidations on the writings of the Ari and Rabbi Chaim Vital, alphabetically ordered, authored by Rabbi Yaakov Shaltiel Ninio, single edition, Livorno, 1843. 

Sefer Kabbalah that had belonged to Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl and was then inherited by his son Rabbi Meshulam Zussia of Chernobyl. 

On the title page, a pencil ownership notation  ‘הרב ר’ זוסיא‘, which is a notation appearing in books that were owned by Kedosh Yisroel Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl and were then inherited by his son, Rabbi Meshulam Zussia of Chernobyl. 

The author Rabbi Yaakov Shaltiel Ninio was born in Jerusalem in 1800 and frequented the Beit El Mekubalim. Served as a Shadar of the Jews of Tiberius. Was famed for his greatness and knowledge of Torah. Rabbi Chaim Palachi frequently mentions him in his books. 

Meor Yisroel Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl [1787-1872] the son of Rabbi Mordechai the Maggid of Chernobyl the son of Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Chernobyl the Me’or Enayim. Was educated by his grandfather the Me’or Enayim. Succeeded his father in Chernobyl and was revered by his Chassidim and by his brothers the Admorim. Served as the president of Eretz Yisroel in Ukraine and was involved in all the affairs of Kollel Vohlin.

His succeeding son Rabbi Yeshaya Meshulam Zussia [1814-1881] the son-in-law of his uncle Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Makarov. By his second marriage, the son-in-law of Rabbi Pinchas of Slavuta and by his third marriage, the son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Ze’ev Rabinowitz, the grandson of Maran the Ba’al Shem Tov. His son-in-law was the holy Rav Maran the Maharid of Belz. Succeeded his father in leading the community of Chernobyl alongside his brother.

[5], 146 leaves. Some aging stains. Well-preserved, quality leaves. Minor moth perforations. Late binding, complete and fine. Good-very good overall condition,
