“May you be blessed with complete health and expansive sustenance, and an abundance of blessing and success” – letter of blessings in the handwriting of Admor Rabbi Meshulam Zusya Twersky of Chernobyl, Bnei Berak 1960.

Aerogramme, handwritten in the holy handwriting of the holy Rabbi Meshulam Zusya of Chernobyl-Loyev, with many blessings to those who assist in the charities he ran. 1960.

The letter was sent to Rabbi Shalom Yechezkel Shraga of Tchechinov (Cieszanów). In it he tells about the inauguration of his new, expanded Shul on Yehuda Halevi street, in Benei Berak.
The Rebbe showers warm greetings and blessings on those who will assist him to uphold Torah and charity issues and more. He signs:
‘Meshulam Zusya Twersky, grandson of the holy Gaon, Master of the Diaspora, Maran of Sanz ZY”A’.

At the top of the page is his personal stamp, in which his old address in Jerusalem is still shown.

The holy Rebbe, Rabbi Meshulem Zusya Twresky of Chernobyl Loyev, [1900-1988], the first of the dynasty of Admorim of Chernobyl after the holocaust, direct descendant of the Chernobyl and Loyev dynasty, the son of the daughter of the Holy Rabbi Yeshayeh Halberstam of Chechoiv, on whose lap he was raised, was influenced by his light and received much from him. With the mercy of Hashem he fled before the holocaust and immigrated alone to Israel. In Jerusalem and later in Bnei Brak he established his Beit HaMedrash were many of the admirers of the holy courts of Chernobyl and Sanz gathered. He was known for his strength of prayers and his great humility. His great son-in-law is the Admor Rabbi Yisrael of Viznitz – Bnei-Brak.
