Tikkueni Hazohar, Press of the Tzaddik Rabbi Moshe Shapiro Av Beit Din in Slavuta. Impressive exemplar.

The first edition to be printed at that holy and noble press!

Tikkunei HaZohar, compositions on the word "Bereshit", discovered and composed by the Saintly Tanna Rabi Shimon Bar Yochai, from the important and noble press of the holy Rabbi, Reb Moshe Shapiro in Slavuta, 1821.

The importance of the printing house in Slavuta is widely known, and the merit of studying in Seforim that were printed there are legend for generations.

The Holy Rebbe of Ruzhin mentioned once that the Seforim printed in Slavuta are pure sifted flour, dear as gold and pearls. The quality of the type and the printing was secondary to the piousness of the print’s owners – the son and grandchildren of the Holy Reb Pinchas of Koretz – as well as that of the other employees. There are those who say that even the engravings and type were immersed in a Mikveh for purity, and over all lay a spirit of piousness and spiritual perfection.
