"Seder Selichot custom of Polin Katan and Polin Gadol" – Zhytomyr, 1854 – copy of the Admor Rabbi Aharon Brandwein of Pleshtin-Stretin-Safed who was raised by Ateret Tiferet Yisroel of Ruzhin. 


The Rav of Ruzhin crowned him and even gave him Pitkei Derachamei. 

The press of Chanina Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel Shapiro in Zhytomyr, 1854. 

Signature on the last leaf of the  Admor Rabbi Aharon Brandwein of Pleshtin-Stretin-Safed: "הק’ אהרן ב… צבי אריה מאליק חה"צ [=חתן הצדיק] מסטרעטין ז"ל".

Rabbi Aharon Brandwein of Pleshtin-Stretin-Safed (passed away in 1907. Encyclopedia Lechassidut, I, p. 145) was the son-in-law od the Rav Rabbi Avraham of Stretin. As a child, he grew up in the home of his mother’s uncle the Saba Kaddisha of Ruzhin. His uncle titled him Admor and gave him a Kvitel with Pidyon. He immigrated to the Holy land and settled in Safed. Was buried there in the cave of the Rav the Beer Mayim Chaim.
