Sefer Noam Elimelech, a basic Chassidic book, by Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk. The important seventh edition. Printed in Russia-Polan, circa. 1820.

This edition includes for the first time, printed  on verso of the title page, Hanhagot HaAdam by the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk. They were attributed to Rabbi Yechiel Michl of Zlotchov by mistake or, according to traditionally told versions of the story, deliberately in order to increase the number of buyers as Rabbi Michl of Zlotchov was one of the sages of the Kloiz of Brody, which was a center of those opposing Chassidut. According to the title page of the Sefer, he is its author as well as the author of these Hanhagot Kedoshot.

Tears, including open tears affecting the text. Margins trimmed close to text, affecting page headings in several places. Stamps. New leather binding.
