The Rav Rabbi Nachum Dober Ber Friedman [1844-1883] the son of  Rabbi Sholom Yosef of Ruzhin and the son-in-law of Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura, a great Torah and Chassidus Gaon. Lived his entire life in the court of his father-in-law in Sadigura. His large library contained many rare books and manuscripts and was one of the most important and renowned libraries of his time. The Gaon author of Yad Yehuda, the Rav of Sadigura writes in his foreword to his book ‘And when I came here to Sadigura I found what my soul loved in the house of my relative the Tzaddik Rav the son of Keddoshim Nachum Dov who has a collection of rare books by ancient authors which is unparalleled’. Used to stamp his books with three stamps – Minchat Shai (gift), Yerushat Avot (inheritance), Kinyan Kaspi (bought with my money).
