It is well-known in the Jewish world that Davening from in this holy Siddur contains a special Segulah that it will be accepted and will not be in vain, and this is according to the famous words of the Ba"ch who wrote in his approbation to this holy Siddur: “For there is no doubt by us when they are spread among Israel, everyone who prays from within it, his prayer will not return empty.” The holy Rebbe R’ A"Y  of Sadigura mentions this Segulah in his approbation to the third edition of the Siddur (Warsaw 1882): “The Siddur Shaar Hashamayim from the Holy Gaon the Shla"h, and as the famous Holy Gaon the Ba"ch testified with his golden speech – there is no doubt with us that all who prays In it, his prayer will not return empty.” Rabbi Naftali Katz, author of “Smichat Chachamim” attributes this Segulah to the holy Shla"h himself, and these are his words in his approbation: “… and a bond is sealed from him that if they shall do before He who hears prayers, following this order with all their might and these intentions, they will not return empty from before Him. And go and see what the people say and the approbations of the great famous ancient Geonim… that if they pray with these intentions, their prayer will not return empty.”

It is told about the Alte Rebbe of Liadi, the Ba’al HaTania, that in his youth "the order of his work in prayer was then according to the order of the Holy Shla"h and his Kavanot in his Sefer Hashla"h and his Siddur “Sha’ar HaShamayim” (Beit Rebbi, Berditchev 1907, p. 2, chapter 1).
