Two large pages, on both sides of a single leaf, from the Torah innovations of the holy Gaon the Yismach Moshe of Ohel for the blessed days of Passover, and on them, glosses and corrections by his grandson and successor the holy Gaon the Yitav Lev of Siget and many glosses by the manuscript’s writer, their grandson the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe David of Lapish.

The holy book Yismach Moshe, by Rabbeinu the holy Gaon of Ohel, was edited by his grandson and successor the holy Gaon Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Teitelbaum Av Beis Din and Ram of Siget, with the assistance of his son-in-law the holy Gaon Rabbi Yisroel Yaakov Yokel of Volova and his close grandson, the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe David Av Beis Din and Ram of Lapish.

From the innovations of the Yismach Moshe and his Likutim, including wonderful elucidations for Passover and on the Passover Haggadah. Including a Mamar on עבדים היינו and a lengthy Mamar on the Diaspora:  ‘כי ידוע הגלות בבחינת הסתר אסתיר והגאולה בבחי’ השגחה, עינא פקיחא. Rabbeinu the Yismach Moshe ends his deep words with the expression: ‘והבן’.

On it are glosses handwritten by his grandson the Yitav Lev, which he wrote when he proofread and edited the book before its printing, and glosses by his grandson the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe David Teitelbaum of Lapish, who assisted in the editing and printing of the holy book.

Many signs of the editing of the book appear on the sheet, alongside the glosses of the Yitav Lev and his grandson: marks of erasures and a light blue notation, apparently to indicate the leaf was proofread and edited.

The glosses are integrated into the printed version of the Yismach Moshe, which was published by the Yitav Lev.

The holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum and his book Yismach Moshe [1759-1841] Gaon and Kabbalist, knowledgeable in all subjects of the Torah. A revered wonder-worker. One of the greatest disciples of Maran the holy Rav the Chozeh of Lublin.

The holy Gaon Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda of Siget the Yitav Lev [1808-1883] the successor of his grandfather and father Rabbi Eliezer Nissan, the son-in-law of the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe David of Talotshova. Studies Torah with his grandfather the Yismach Moshe.
