Kuntres Peirush Hamilot, by the Mitteler Admor. Warsaw, 1867. First edition.

Kuntres Peirush Hamilot also called Mahadura Batra, elucidation by the Mitteler Admor of the words of the Siddur by his father the Admor HaZaken. Nosson Shriptgisser Press, Warsaw, 1867. First edition.

[2], 114 leaves, two title pages, the first abbreviated. See Stefansky Chassidus 474.

Sefer Peirush Hamilot was written by the Mitteler Admor and published for the first time by the great-grandsons of the Admor HaZaken.  The Chassidic Ma’amarim introduced in the book are based on the Ma’amarim by the Admor HaZaken. The Ma’amarim are a Kabbalistic and Chassidic elucidation of the prayer and include elucidations of the words of HaZohar HaKaddosh and the Ari’s Kavanos on the prayer. The Sefer is also known as Mahadura Batra, being a kind of later edition of the elucidation of the words of the prayer which were already published in the Kopust 1816 edition of the Siddur of the Admor HaZaken.

New binding, restoration to the title pages and the [2] first leaves, affecting the text of the title pages. Stains. Some taping. Good condition.
