Imrei Binah by the Gaon Rabbi Dober, the Mitteler Admor of Lubavitch – Lemberg 1862.

Printed on the title page: "As printed in Kopust" referring to the first edition that was published in Kopust in 1821.

Sefer Imrei Binah is the deepest book authored and published by the Mitteler Admor. The book deals with Achdut Hashem and the concepts of Yichuda Ila’a and Yichida Tata’a and is based on the Torah of his father the Admor Hazaken. The book is divided into four: Petach Hasha’ar, Sha’ar Hakeri’at Shema, Sha’ar Hatzitzit and Sha’ar Hatefillin.

The Mitteler Admor published in his lifetime ten of his works, stating that each was written for a different type of Chassidim. Imrei Binah, he said, was authored for the more profound Chassidim.

The Gaon the Divrei Chaim of Sanz used to study the book every night before saying Keriat Shema al Hamitah (Shloshet Haro’im, Brooklyn 2004, p. 320) and cited it in his book the Divrei Chaim, Parashat Vayakhel: "מבואר בספרים וביותר ביאור בספר אמרי בינה בכוונת יחודא עילאה דשמע".
