He carried them by his heart – Personal notebook with notes of Maran the holy Reb Aharon Roth, author of ‘Shomer Emunim VeTaharat Hakodesh”, with information about his disciples, which he carried with him and kept in his thoughts.
This lot includes a bound notebook as well as additional unbound sheets.
At the beginning of the notebook, the scribe, the Rebbe’s trusted hand, writes that in this notebook will be written the names of all the members of the group, the disciples and the strongly attached Chassidim, and that this is the will of the Rebbe, and with Hashem’s help they will be written and sealed for a good year in the book of complete Tzaddikim.
Among the names mentioned in the holy booklet, is the name of his son and successor, the holy Rabbi Avraham Chaim, author of ‘Chukei Chaim’, and the name of his son-in-law and successor, the holy Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak of Toldos Aharon, and his son – the grandson, the holy Rebbe of Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Shlit”a.
The notebook, which contains many pages, was created before Rosh Hashana of 5706 – 1945, which was the last whole year of the Rebbe’s life before he passed away in 5707 – 1947.
Besides for the notebook, there are several more paper items, amongst them notes and names of members of the group from previous years – 1938-39 and more.
