Printed invitation from Maran the famous and holy Rabbi David Yuda Zilberstein, Av Beit Din of Weitzen, son of the “Ma’asai Lamelech”. Weitzen, 1939


Invitation, printed on heavy card stock, to the marriage of the daughter, Miss Chana with her intended, Master Aharon, son of Rabbi Daniel Gross, to take place at Kozhnitzi Hall, in Cheshvan 5700 (1939).

At the lower margin of the invitation, additional writing in his own hand, wherein Rabbi David Yehuda added
“begging pardon to assist in marrying the bride”
.


The holy Gaon Rabbi David Yehuda Zilberstein, son of the Gaon of Weitzen, author of “Ma’asai Lamelech”, disciple of the holy Geonim Rabbi Shaul Brach and Rabbi Mordechai Leib Winkler – the Levushei Mordechai”. In 1905, while still in his youth, he published the Sefer “Yad David”, which received enthusiastic approbations from the leaders of the generation. Served in 1915 as Rabbi in Helishtaba, in 1928 as Dayan in Weitzen, assisting his father. Succeeded his father after his passing in 1930.
